Ich bin wieder live im Studio diesen Monat. In dieser Sendung geht es unter Anderem um "Mashups" -- ein durchaus (zumindest für mich) komischer Begriff für Hip-Hop.
Heutzutage sind Mashups überall zu finden, dank Fernsehserien wie Glee oder z.B. in dem Film Pitch Perfect. Man nimmt mindestens zwei Songs und mischen sie zusammen...so einfach isset.
Nur im Rap...naja...das machen die DJs und Produzenten seit dem Anfang der Rap-Geschichte eigentlich. Samples und Remixes sind keine neuen Konzepten. Ich find es aber trotzdem schön neue Interpretationen von Hip-Hop Klassikern zu hören. Noch besser finde ich es, wenn ich Mashups entdecke von Tracks, die ich in der originalen Version gar nicht mochten und dann -- zack -- kommt etwas Cooles raus.
Schau mal auf der TMHU (Turn My Headphones Up) Facebook-Seite während der Sendung. Da poste ich immer relevante Artikel oder Musikvideos oder sonstige Infos zu der Musik, die ich spiele.
