Es geht um Virus, Breakbeatscience, Scratchscience, Black Atlantic, Harcore Continium, Piraten Utopien, Tem- poräre Autonome Zonen, 909, Raves, Bunker und Fuck Parade. Diesmal ein Mix mit Veröffentlichungen des aus, randgebieten, aus Paris stammenden Label Marasm und deren unterlabels Corch und Trakma. Das musikalisch vielfälltige Label veröffentlichte neben französichen Breakcore auch vorallem abstrakte Elektronik, Noise, Electro, HipFlop und Freetek. Viele der veröffentlichungen sind als Compilation 7inches herausgekommen. Zuletzt gab es eine Flut an auf wenige Kopien limitierte Dubplates, deren Cover, würde man aller besitzen ein großes Bild ergeben.

Auch wenn das Diskurs Programm inzwischen beim Elevate Festival überwiegt, so ist das Festival ursprünglich aus Musik-Events und der Clubkultur hervorgegangen. Des Nachts vermitteln die MusikerInnen auf mehreren Floors ihre Forschungsergebnisse sonisch und machen die Apokalypse tanzbar. So hat der Sci-Fi HipHop-Produzent Ras G nicht nur den Dancefloor bespielt, sondern erfrischend unprätentiös seine Praxis des Re-Sampling in einem Workshop erläutert. Der Juke Produzent DJ Spinn und der Genre-Crosser Kevin Martin (The Bug, King Midas Sound, Techno Animal) plauschen beim Elevate-Musictalk über die Entstehung von Footwork in den USA oder darüber, wie der englische Staat die Grime-Szene unterbindet. Der Veranstalter Daniel Erlacher, der selber Breakcore produzierte und das Label Widerstand Records bewirtschaftete, berichtet von der Geschichte des Festivals.
