Eine elektro-akustische produktion von Hans Van Eck aus seinen archiven von 1987. Was ihr kennt Hans Van Eck nicht? Hier schreibt er über sich selbst: "The art of music arises from the digestion of sounds in the ears and minds of the listener. Bei den Recherchen für unsere Sendung über unbegleitete Solo-Aufnahmen stellte sich heraus, dass zu diesem Setting, dem Vorkommen in den verschiedenen Jazz-Epochen, der Einordnung in den jeweiligen Kontext, die gesellschaftliche Situation, kaum etwas Inhaltliches (außer der Musik selbst natürlich) zu geben scheint. Okay, es gibt vor Beginn der 1970er Jahre einige wenige Aufnahmen (Eric Dolphy´s "God bless the Child", "Picasso" von Coleman Hawkins, mehrere Stücke des Pianisten Lennie Tristano), aber mehr wurde es anscheinend erst Ende der 1960er/Anfang der 1970er Jahre.

Im frühjahr verstarb Ghédalia Tazartès und zu ehren spielen wir diese platte aus dem jahr 1980. Seine art, bestimmt durch stimme und elektronik, war einzigartig: ein protoganist französicher kultur und zutiefst antiakademisch, beackerter er sein leben lang ein feld das nur der akadedischen elektro-akustik vorbehalten war. Discogs schreibt: "French artist Ghédalia Tazartès (May 12th, 1947, Paris - February 9th, 2021) was a nomad. He wanders through music from chant to rhythm, from one voice to another.
